Iker Bravo is officially a new player for UD Las Palmas. The forward was presented this Thursday at the Sports City alongside Vicente Gómez.
"We appreciate his commitment to coming here. It is a simple loan until June 30," Vicente said about his arrival.
Some of his statements:
"I am very happy to be here, pleased with the decision I have made. I thank Unión Deportiva. When the option of Las Palmas came up, I watched quite a few matches. And because of the way they play and the way I understand football, I think I can adapt very well, with excellent players. I don't think it's about relaunching my career. I am 21 years old, I want to grow as a player and be happy in a team that plays good football."
"This transfer market is different. I was very clear about what I wanted for the second part of the season. I spoke with my agent and with Luis García, the coach. When you see that they want you and you want to come, the decision was very simple."
"I want to help the team with the utmost humility and respect because they are doing things very well. I want to bring Las Palmas back to where it belongs, in the First Division."
"My ambition is for all of us to move up together to the First Division. It is a very beautiful fanbase, passionate about the club. That is what I like, feeling the affection of the fans and giving it back on the field with attitude, effort, and quality."
"I don't see it as competition; it's an opportunity to play with great players. And to be able to enjoy playing football because I have needed it for a very long time. I don't see competition, I am eager to enjoy with them. And if we all enjoy, things will come naturally."
"Jesé is a great player, and everyone knows the quality he has. Whatever I can learn from him, I will learn. I will keep my ears wide open to learn from him, paying close attention to him. I am very happy to play with him; I will take advantage of this opportunity."
"I want to be the best teammate and person possible in the locker room. We all have a very important goal. I respect those who have been here for many years, doing things very well. I consider myself a player with personality, and I will try to show it on the field with courage."
