Valentín Pezzolesi spoke to the media ahead of the match corresponding to the ninth round of LALIGA HYPERMOTION, which will see UD Las Palmas face RCD Mallorca this Sunday at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. The yellow team player reflected on his growth at the club, the trust he has received, and the upcoming league match.

These were some of his statements:

“I am satisfied to have this opportunity and to have played all the minutes so far. Also contributing to the team with two goals makes me even happier.”

“You have to set an example for the youth players because I was one of them. What I was taught at the top, I will also teach.”

“I feel that we are doing well, that we need to learn things and improve. The season is very long, and we will keep pushing to make things go well. I see the team in good shape, eager for Sunday to come. We want to end this streak with three points.”

“I think they have worked well with me. They have taken their time and been patient. If it had to be this year, then it was this year. Last season it didn’t happen. Things come with patience in football.”

“We are all united, we are a great team, we all get along well, and there are no problems. We want Sunday to come, and we can win.”

“I hold no grudge against Luis García. He knows what he was doing; he is a coach and makes decisions. I have learned many things from him. Now I am with Rubén de la Barrera, who has also given me confidence, and here I am.”

“Right now, I am happy with the Spanish national team. The AFA has called me, but there hasn’t been a call-up. But I am very happy with Spain.”
