Jefté Betancor addressed the media ahead of the match corresponding to the tenth round of LALIGA HYPERMOTION, which will see UD Las Palmas face CD Castellón this Saturday at the Gran Canaria Stadium. The yellow forward assessed the team's situation, the arrival of Juan Manuel Rodríguez, and the importance of changing the results dynamic.

These were some of his statements:

“It is true that we veterans have to step up, and I include myself as the first to do so. We have to give more because the results are there.”

“The change of a coach does not depend on the players but on the club. We are all responsible. We have not managed to find the key. But the dismissal was not our decision.”

“We have been with Juan Manuel for a very short time. Days have to pass until Castellón. We are working on the concepts he wants. We need to step up.”

“I believe we are all committed. The president has told us to step up to turn this around. We have the squad for that and more.”

“Everyone, especially me, must step up. When the results are not good, everything goes wrong. It is time to stay united and get out of this no matter what.”

“Juan Manuel asks us to change the dynamic and for everyone to give one hundred percent.”
