Ezekiel: "I consider myself to be a very quick striker"

Imoh Ezekiel, UD Las Palmas’ new signing, has been officially unveiled at midday today. He is a Nigerian striker who comes in from Turkish football on a free transfer. He has signed for the yellows until June 2019.

"He is a different, pacy nº'9. He has experience of European football despite his young age. We believe in him. He will belong to us and may extend his contract with us", said Toni Cruz, the club’s sports manager, referring to the latest signing of Imoh Ezekiel. "With this signing, we are providing added attacking options for our trainer".

Ezekiel, said during his presentation that "I am fit to play, but it all depends on the trainer. I am really pleased to have signed for UD Las Palmas. It is a great opportunity for me to play in the top league in the world and face the best players in the world". The Nigerian forward revealed "it was hard for me to adapt to Turkish football. My family was not happy there and for this reason we decided to look elsewhere", while he also mentioned payment problems with his previous club.

Ezekiel considers himself to be a quick striker, and believes he will make the World Cup. “I will do all I can have a good season with UD Las Palmas". In his country’s Olympic side he coincided with Etebo. "I haven’t called him yet, I want to give him a surprise"
