Viti: "I see the team convinced that if we achieve victory, it will make us see things differently."

The UD Las Palmas player stated in the pre-match interview against Cultural that "the team is confident in the work it does, we knew this could happen but we shouldn't go crazy and disregard the value of the work we were doing before."

Viti Rozada attended a press conference this morning, where he stated that "all the matches in the Second Division are complicated, we have the uncertainty of the coaching change at Cultural. We want to change the negative streak and we are eager for the match to arrive."

These were some of his statements:
"Every week, depending a bit on the opponent, we analyze the matches and always prepare for what we might encounter over the weekend. Mentally, we need to stay calm, we know we are in a bad dynamic. In that sense, I think people are calm and eager to achieve victory, which will make us see things differently."

"The coach has already shown during the time we've been together that he is an incredible coach. He keeps us all motivated, and we should all feel important."

"I can perfectly understand Sandro; when you have an injury of his severity that keeps you out for several months, you might question things. It's hard to get back into the rhythm of competition and feel good, it's totally understandable."

"The other day I felt quite comfortable, although the second half was a bit harder for me. I want to keep improving every day and be at my best level."

"I don't think 'unrecognizable' is the word. I don't think we need to be so negative; we are lacking precision in both areas, but that will come."

"Our goal is to be as high as possible in the standings at the end of the season. The team is convinced of the work we are doing, we knew this could happen, but we shouldn't go crazy or undervalue the work we were doing before. I see the team convinced that if we achieve victory, it will make us see things differently and give us a boost."

"It does influence when you don't get the results you want; you don't have the same confidence you had when you were getting positive results, and that sometimes makes you act hastily."

"He likes to have more possession with a more positional game; we are going to face a Cultural that is quite different from how they were playing before. Surely, they will come out with a lot of intensity in the first minutes."

"It's clear that we are self-critical, but we do it internally, which is what will help us achieve better results over the weekend. Asking for calm and tranquility doesn't mean we aren't self-critical."
