Pimienta: "If you're not decisive in both boxes, it's hard to get points."

García Pimienta pointed out after the match that "we've had a lot of opportunities in the opposing goal, created very clear chances, and it's all about scoring goals. If you're not decisive in both boxes, it's hard to get points."

García Pimienta appeared at the press conference after the game between UD Las Palmas and Girona FC at the Estadio Gran Canaria. The coach began by saying, "In this case, the match was tough, we competed, had many chances, and dominated against Girona. We weren't accurate with the penalty, and they were, I think that's what influenced the game."

Here are some of his statements:

"The pitch dried up because of the wind, we're two teams that want the ball, and when it's dry, it affects the game."

"We're in that dynamic where we start the game well, with good sensations against a team like Girona, who want to play from the back... Valles saved the penalty, and they scored on the rebound, it seems like everything happens."

"We've had a lot of opportunities in the opposing goal, created very clear chances, and it's all about scoring goals. If you're not decisive in both boxes, it's hard to get points."

"We struggle to create chances, and when we do, we struggle to score. It's a deficit we've had throughout the season."

"Sandro is a top-level forward, one of the players we have with real experience in La Liga. He's playing for his hometown team, things aren't going well for him in terms of scoring goals, but I admire his attitude. I see how he wants to keep improving, unfortunately, the penalties are missed by whoever takes them."
