Luis García appeared before the media gathered at the Municipal de Anduva, the stadium where UD Las Palmas secured a draw against Mirandés (1-1), with a goal by Jesé. The coach of UD Las Palmas analyzed the match, highlighting that "Mirandés scored against us due to a defensive lapse that we didn't handle well. With a 1-0 deficit, everything is obviously more difficult, but the team believed until the end."

These were some of his statements:

"We have to keep insisting. We had very clear chances to get ahead again, but it didn't happen. We're upset because we wanted to win."

"I think my idea and way of thinking is always positive, trying to give the players the best tools so they can perform on the pitch. We lacked winning duels, and in the first half, with what we created, I think it should have been enough to take the lead."

"Jesé's goal is the reward for what the team wanted, which was to try to turn the score around. I repeat, we leave unsatisfied because we wanted the three points."

"We have to keep improving in everything, now even more, calmly and by making a good analysis of what we did today, and above all, trying to give the players more confidence because I am convinced they will turn the situation around to start winning again."

"I never look at the standings; the only thing I focus on is trying to contribute to the players. Self-criticism is constant and ongoing; we have to keep moving forward. There's still a long way to go, obviously less and less, but we are confident and convinced that we will turn things around. One result changes everything."
