Luis García: "My only goal is tomorrow, I don't think beyond that."

The UD Las Palmas coach stated that "we are four points away from direct promotion and one point from the playoffs. Football evolves very quickly, and the objectives are there; the difficulty of the category shows that winning is very hard."

Luis García appeared this Thursday ahead of the match that will pit UD Las Palmas against CD Leganés tomorrow at the Gran Canaria Stadium. Regarding the opponent, the yellow coach stated that "we cannot forget that Leganés is one of the recently relegated teams, they have very good players, and they are in a situation where they still need to secure their permanence." "We have worked very well, with intensity, focusing on areas to improve. We are very eager to play a good match to get three points again," he added.

These were some of his statements:

"We are four points away from direct promotion and one point from the playoffs. Football evolves very quickly, and the goals are there; the difficulty of the category shows that winning is very hard."

"We have been able to bring a lot of people to the stadium; I remember the day against Dépor. We would like more to come, but the only thing we can do is thank our fans for attending; they are very important."

"Football has taught me many things; the most important is what's next. A final is when there is nothing more. There is no doubt that this is a very important match."

"I make mistakes in many things; I am a person like anyone else. I make mistakes because I make decisions. You have to look forward and have enough self-criticism to improve; there is nothing more."

"It is useless to think about what will happen in seven matchdays; this is a category where you need to go day by day, maintaining balance."

"To the fans, I would say to live it with excitement, which is the most important thing. I am no one to ask anything of our people; the only thing I can do is thank them."
