Luis García appeared at a press conference ahead of the match between UD Las Palmas and CD Castellón at the Gran Canaria Stadium. Regarding the opponent, the yellow coach highlighted: "Castellón is a team that is doing things very well. They have a very clear idea of how they want to play and they execute it very well. Like everyone, they have their weak points, but their characteristics are that they are a very intense team and they handle the ball well. They are a good team, and that's why they are where they are, no one has given them anything."

These were some of his statements:

"I already said this moment was going to happen. The main responsibility always falls on the coach, I accept it naturally. We need our people, a very beautiful match is coming, one of the most attractive in the category."

"Jesé is doing an extraordinary job. He is doing things phenomenally. He is ready for whatever is needed."

"There is a very long way to go, there is time for everything. We are the team that has conceded the fewest goals and lost the least. We are fifth after not winning six games, the confidence in the team is maximum, and everything changes with a victory."

"There are a lot of nuances within the proposal. The idea is the same, which is to try to be protagonists with the ball. The tactical variability of the team is undeniable. Our general idea cannot change, because otherwise, the player is lost."

"We will see how Sandro feels. We will be attentive to how he feels today to see if he will be available tomorrow."

"Viera is already available, and Viti too. The other day he already played some minutes, he is a special player, it takes very little for him to get in shape."

"Within the club, the strength they transmit to you at every moment is incredible. I only have words of gratitude for all the people who make up UD. I am calm. Regarding external matters, it is something we cannot control. I understand that it is part of this profession, often in an ungrateful way."
