Luis García: "I get on the bus of believing and that it is possible because the team has the ability to achieve it."

The yellow coach highlighted before the match at La Rosaleda that "we are mentally prepared to play a good game, to win it, convinced that we are capable of turning the tie around."

The coach of UD Las Palmas, Luis García, appeared this Tuesday in the press room, where he stated that "it is true that we have not been able to beat them or score against them, but all of that motivates me even more to try to help the players. I am very convinced that we are capable of doing it, the team has done many things well throughout the year, we are going to compete in the match and win it."

These were some of his statements:

"Throughout my career, I have played with many teams and, like most, we lose more than we win. I am a very positive person. I believe the team has done many things well, with 73 points, we are fighting to move up to the First Division, we are the second team with the fewest goals conceded, the fourth-best away team... I am absolutely convinced that the team is capable of turning the score around."

"Defeats or difficult moments give me much more strength and fuel to help the players."

"Recognizing advantages better and being more fluid with the ball, I think that will be the key. We struggled to be more precise with the ball, but I am convinced that the team will give it their all. We are going to take the ball to the park and let them enjoy it."

"I am a person who does not go along with the general opinions of others; many times, I go against them. I believe in my team, in this great team that will give everything to try to bring UD Las Palmas back to the First Division."

"Regardless of the matches, the analysis is permanent and continuous. The condition of this match is that it comes three days after the previous one, so we have focused on physically and mentally recovering the players."

"First of all, I want to thank the fans for the welcome and for cheering us on. We have to manage that frustration. Football has given us incredible moments; we are one goal away from forcing extra time and two from advancing in the playoffs. I am on the bus of believing and knowing it is possible because the team has the ability to achieve it."

"We have to wait a bit for today's training session; we don't know who will participate. We have to keep thinking and decide. Just because we need to win the match doesn't mean we should throw everything away in the first fifteen minutes. There is no doubt that the opponent has an advantage, but we are capable of winning and getting into the Play-Off final."

"Málaga has a great coach; there's a reason they are where they are. The most important thing is how we come out and approach the match. From there, we will see what the opponent proposes."

"The message is the same as always: we believe it is possible, and we are excited. I repeat, we have the ability to go to Málaga and win. We will fight until the last moment to try to get into that final."

"When Enzo got injured, we talked about Iñaki and Iván Medina. Iván has a great mentality, personality, talent, and is a hallmark of UD Las Palmas. I am convinced he will be there; he brings great things. Right now, the circumstances are what they are, but he is ready to compete at any moment."

"Barcia trained yesterday, felt good, and we will see today. If there is a moment to take a risk, perhaps it is now."

"I don't have time to think about myself or my future."
