Luis García: "Football has been cruel to some players who are giving it their all"

"The best analysis is that I am very proud of the players. They represent the spirit of fighting, of overcoming... Today was a very demanding match, and the team worked on the game as we had planned," said the coach.

Luis García addressed the media who gathered at the end of the draw against CD Castellón. "We had some long possessions that could have slowed down the game, and in an isolated situation, they scored. Regardless of each team's merits, it was cruel. I don't regret it; the substitutions gave us energy. The physical demands of the match were tremendous," he said about the game.

Some of his statements:

"The team has a very distinct and clear identity; it knows how to defend and attack well. Jesé's gesture when celebrating the goal shows humility; the heart of the team is united. The team knows what it wants, is aware of the difficulty, and is united."

"We are going to get back up again. Tomorrow they will feel down, but I will help them. I am convinced that everything will turn around because football gives back everything you put into it."

"The first half was absolutely incredible in terms of intensity. There was a significant risk of injury with Barcia; the substitution was simply because of that."

"I told Sandro to enjoy it; he has had a very long and difficult journey. I am very happy with his return because I am sure he will contribute a lot to us."
