UD Las Palmas adds Lorenzo Amatucci (02/05/2004, Arezzo, Italy) to its squad after reaching a loan agreement with his current club, Fiorentina, which includes a purchase option.
The new yellow-clad player came through Fiorentina’s youth academy before making his first-team debut against Inter Milan (09/03/2023). In the 2023/24 season, he was loaned to Ternana, and last season he played for Salernitana (on loan), featuring in 40 matches in Serie B and the Coppa Italia.
Amatucci stands out as a defensive midfielder with great range, aggressiveness, good ball control, and box-to-box capabilities.
He is an Italy U-20 international, having played five matches with the national team. In 2023, he was crowned U-19 European champion, and with Fiorentina Primavera he also won 3 Coppa Italia titles and 2 Italian Super Cups.
