UD Las Palmas adds José Campaña to its ranks until June 30. In the agreement reached between all parties, it has also been agreed to grant the yellow entity an option to extend for one more season.

José Gómez Campaña (Seville, 31-5-1993) was trained in the youth football categories of Sevilla FC until he reached the first team, where he spent two seasons and became a double UEFA European Under-19 Champion.

In the 2013/14 season, he was transferred by the Seville club to Crystal Palace, from where he was loaned to Nuremberg, and in the 2014/15 season, the midfielder signed for Sampdoria and after being loaned to Porto and AD Alcorcón, Levante UD acquired his services (2016/17).

José Campaña has a great football career, with more than 350 matches, 27 goals, and over 25,000 minutes played in different leagues. Additionally, he has been an international player at all levels of the Spanish national team. His debut in the senior team took place on October 7, 2020, in a friendly match against Portugal.

The new yellow reinforcement has already undergone a medical examination at the Perpetuo Socorro Hospital and will be presented to the media tomorrow, Thursday, at 10 a.m. at the Ciudad Deportiva.
