Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani, a luxury backer for UD

UD Las Palmas has reached an agreement with Alberto Aquilani, an Italian midfielder with long international experience, to be part of the 2017/2018 squad. The agreement is for two seasons. Your arrival in Gran Canaria is scheduled for tomorrow.

Alberto Aquilani (Roma, Province of Rome, Italy, 7 July 1984) is a well-versed midfielder with a good record in top-level clubs such as Roma, Juventus, Milan, Fiorentina, Liverpool and Sporting Lisbon. To his recently turned 33 years the player, who last year joined the Pesara, and then in the Sassuolo, makes the jump to Spain to sign for two seasons with the UD Las Palmas after being released. To his credit, being player of the Rome managed to gain two Cups of Italy and one Supercopa (2006-2008).

He has been international with the selection of soccer of Italy in 38 occasions and has scored 5 goals. He made his debut on November 15, 2006, in a friendly against Turkey that finished 1-1. On May 13, 2014, Italy coach Cesare Prandelli included him on the final roster of 23 players summoned for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
