García Pimienta appeared at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium's press room after the defeat against Real Madrid (2-0). The coach highlighted aspects of his team, stating, "We fielded the best possible eleven. Coco and Curbelo have been working very well, Sinkgraven has recovered from his injury and is expected to be an important player. Players like Javi Muñoz, who was out of the starting lineup, but in my opinion, is a starter in this team, and Mfulu, who has been working well."

Here are his comments:

"I don't know if the game would have evolved differently if it had reached halftime 0-0. The difference between the two teams is enormous, so we knew we would face a lot of demands in the game."

"Real Madrid was superior, especially in the first half. With the team we fielded, we could have played a more competitive game. We did it with the best intention because I considered that we had players who were training very well and deserved to play."

"The problem is not the Celta game; the problem is the previous game, where the players were not fully recovered. Honestly, it wasn't optimal for the players. Araujo was in decent shape, Jonathan Viera, Munir... but we arrived with very little rest. The substitutions for Jonathan and Munir the other day allowed them to start today and they held up quite well, but we are not a team accustomed to playing midweek and then on the weekend."

"If we had a full week of training, the lineup would probably have been different. Valles is having an excellent season; I'm happy with his performance. He's a Primera División goalkeeper."
