Deivid, UD Las Palmas latest signing

David Rodríguez, Deivid, has joined the club for the next three seasons. The Gran Canaria-born footballer returns to UD Las Palmas from Real Valladolid.

David Omar Rodríguez Barrera, Deivid, (born 27th January 1989, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) is the latest addition to UD Las Palmas to strengthen their defence. He has struck a deal with the club to keep him here for three years.

The Canary defender has played in the first division, with Sevilla FC, in the 2011/2012, playing a total of 284 minutes; then in the 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 season he wore the shirt of UD Las Palmas in the second division, clocking up a total of 7,155 minutes between league, cup and playoffs. He then moved on to Córdoba in the 2014/2015 season, featuring in 80 games for the Andalusian side, 21 of which were in the top flight; he then moved to Real Valladolid last season, playing some 2,050 minutes, scoring one goal and helping the team gain promotion back to the first division.

Deivid will be presented on Monday at 11.00 in the press room at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
