Deivid loaned out to Nea Salamina Famagusta FC
Gran Canaria-born footballer Deivid will be sent on loan to Nea Salamina Famagusta FC, in Cyprus, until the end of the season, following an agreement reached by all parties. The central defender has undergone the medical examination today at his new club
David Omar Rodríguez Barrera, Deivid, (born 27th January 1989, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) will play the rest of the season out on loan at Cypriot first team outfit Nea Salamina Famagusta FC. Following his time at Las Palmas in the 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 seasons, Deivid returned to the club in the 2018/2019 season from Córdoba CF.
This season he has featured in five league matches, racking up a total of 280 minutes. He started the games against Alcorcón, Mirandés and Numancia. In the Spanish Cup he started both matches, against CD Castellón and CD Badajoz, and his appearance in this last game meant he reached the 100-match landmark with Las Palmas.
