Rubén Castro: "My age doesn’t limit me at all"

"My age doesn’t limit me at all, I came here to start matches and to score goals. We are putting together a great side in order to gain promotion, and that is what we all want", Rubén Castro said today in the press conference held at St George's Park in E

"We can’t complain, the facilities have everything we need to have a good pre-season. This is the home of the England national side and we feel great here", said Rubén Castro. "They have signed me to score goals, but then the boss is the one who runs the show. I think we will play an attacking style, due to the number of strikers the club is signing. It is great for the club that there is competition for places", he stated.

For Rubén Castro the most important thing is "winning" although he recognizes that in pre-season "results count for nothing. We are looking to get match fit and to understand all the tactical plans Manolo Jiménez is attempting to instill into the team".

For Rubén Castro it would be good news if Jorge Molina signed for Las Palmas. "At Betis we built up a great partnership and scored many goals together. I would welcome him with open arms, he is a player who could bring a whole lot to this league".
