Pepe Mel: "El Sadar is a stadium where the fans are breathing down your neck and it will be a tough test for us"

Las Palmas' manager stated that "our players will be paying tribute to Osasuna for their recent promotion to the First Division by applauding them onto the pitch".

Pepe Mel assessed his squad selection for the clash against Osasuna, explaining "the youth team players have to be introduced little by little. Although I want them to continue to be training with us it may still not be the right time for them to play for the first team", adding "Nauzet is unwell and is unavailable. Momo looks fitter so he is back in the reckoning".

"It will be a hard match for us because we are expecting the Sadar stadium to be packed out and as intense as it always is", he stated in relation to tomorrow's game against the Reds. The manager stressed "the team's aim right now is to finish as high as possible".

To finish with he spoke once again of his future, responding: "I prefer not to talk about next season yet. I have to be respectful of the club's timing and this season is not over yet"
