Fabio González appeared in Thursday's press conference at the Ciudad Deportiva, stating regarding the Girona match, "We're focused on ourselves, that's what we need to do now. We'll go for the three points on Saturday."

Here are some of his statements:

"Eight winless games are a lot. People talk about relaxation, but that's not it. We had a spectacular half-hour in Vigo, and that's what we should focus on without forgetting the other sixty minutes. We must stick to the same game plan, which is very good."

"García Pimienta is the coach who has given us an identity and led us to La Liga. Right now, he's the best coach UD Las Palmas could have."

"I've been here for years, and the president usually talks to us daily. The other day, he did it collectively. It was to ask for respect for the fans because what happened on Saturday cannot happen again. We ask for the fans' support; they are always there for us. We thank them."

"In the previous 25 matchdays, everyone talked about UD Las Palmas, how well we were doing, and our style of play. I think the best example is Girona, their desire to keep winning, the hunger. That's what we want to do to pursue the three points on Saturday."

"I talk to many fans because I'm one of them, and many are proud of the season. Everyone thought we would be in the relegation zone, but we've set a style, been brave, reached high peaks... The season, if not for these last few matchdays, would be outstanding."
