Edward Edier Cedeño Guerrel (07/05/2003, Panama) is now a new UD Las Palmas player for the next three seasons, after a transfer agreement with CD del Este, a club commonly known as Potros del Este.

The Panamanian midfielder stands out for his strong physical presence, wide coverage of the field, aerial ability, and excellent skills in ball recovery and playmaking.

Cedeño is a full international for Panama, having made his senior debut last June during the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers.

In 2021, he joined Potros del Este, then went on to play for Alajuelense (Costa Rica) in the 2022/23 season, where he won both the Central American Cup and the Costa Rican Cup.
During the 2024/25 season, he moved to Spain on loan to play for SD Tarazona, appearing in 28 Primera RFEF matches, with over 2,000 minutes played, scoring 1 goal and providing 4 assists.

The player will arrive in Gran Canaria tomorrow, Friday, and will be officially presented on Saturday after completing his medical examination.
