Paco Jémez: “Whoever wins will not be guaranteed a first division place next year, and whoever loses is not in the second division yet”
Las Palmas’ trainer was clear about the importance of tomorrow’s clash tomorrow, saying “the winners will not automatically stay up and the losers will not automatically be relegated”, adding “whatever happens in Levante’s match, we have to go out and win

”It is a highly important game, and any words to describe its important are bound to fall short. The game involving Levante today is important, but we need to go out and win no matter what our rivals do” the manager said, with reference to what he is expecting tomorrow in Riazor. He stressed “the winners won’t be guaranteed a place in the first division next year, and the losers will not be relegated yet, there are still plenty of matches to go”.
Jémez made reference to the players in his squad who are ruled out through injury, but acknowledged “we need to reconstruct our team, and those who are selected will need to show what they are made of”. As far the travelling party, he said “it is a vital match and whatever happens we will be better off all together”. With this statement he concluded his press conference in the press room at Abegondo.
