The Force was with UD Las Palmas on a Galactic Night in San Antonio

UD Las Palmas secured a 0-1 victory over San Antonio FC in an international friendly held at Toyota Field, on a special evening marked by the themed event “Star Wars Night.” The match was attended by a delegation from the San Antonio City Council, led by the mayor, as well as executives from the San Antonio Spurs and other special guests.

On a night where football and science fiction came together, UD Las Palmas claimed the win thanks to a 53rd-minute goal by Arturo, who found the net after a collective play that broke down the home defense.

The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, with fans dressed as Star Wars characters and the presence of Pío Pío, UD Las Palmas’ mascot, who kept the crowd energized throughout the match.
