Paco Jémez (April 18th, 1970, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) will be in charge of the UD Las Palmas bench until the end of the season. He will move next week to Gran Canaria, to be officially introduced as new coach of the Yellow club on Wednesday 27th December. That same day, in the afternoon, the team will resume the trainings after the Christmas break.

Paco Jémez had already coached UD Las Palmas when the team played in the Second Division 'A'. He took over the team the last ten days of the 2009-2010 season, replacing Sergio Kresic. The following year he continued in the yellow bench until day 26, being dismissed after the defeat in Granada (5-2). His place was occupied by Juan Manuel Rodríguez.

His beginnings as a trainer go back to the 2006-2007 season, leading the Alcalá Sports Society, with which he achieved the promotion of category. After training in Córdoba and Cartagena,that also promoted under Jémez direction, he arrives back at UD Las Palmas on April 12th, 2010. Subsequently, Jémez sat on the banks of Córdoba (second stage), Rayo Vallecano, Granada and Cruz Azul from Mexico.

Paco Jémez is accompanied by his team of collaborators formed by Juan Luna Eslava (second coach and who was already with Jémez at UD Las Palmas), Julio Luis Muñoz Saldaña (physical trainer) and Jorge Ramírez Fernández (goalkeeper coach).
