Pako Ayestarán: "It is normal to let the result get away from you at Bernabéu"
UD Las Palmas' manager,, Pako Ayestarán, said following defeat in the Santiago Bernabéu that "it is normal to let the result get away from you in the Bernabéu" pointing out that "if you don't take your chances then you are going to suffer".
Ayestarán's opinion of the match against Real Madrid was that "I am not satisfied but I do take positives from the game", saying that his approach at the start "we expected to be more aggressive on the wings, this system has served to give us more security in defence".
In reference to the tactical system he put out for tonight's clash, the manager was quite clear: "I would have come out with the same system as I would against any other rival"; in terms of the team's morale, he revealed "right now I can see more conviction in the dressing room".
Pako Ayestarán continues to defend his recipe for getting out of the complicated situation in which his team find themselves, and knows that "we will get through this situation with hard work and sticking to the task on a daily basis" he concluded in the press room at the Santiago Bernabéu.
