Manolo Márquez said that "we need to be more direct to win this match", responding to questions regarding the lack of shots on goal in the last game against Sevilla.

The yellows’ trainer said of his rivals: "I like the way Leganés play as a team, they are very clear about how the way they play and their tactical work is spot on", then added: "it is a tough game for us as they don’t let other teams have many scoring chances".

As for the chances of Remy playing tomorrow despite his muscular problems, Manolo Márquez has his doubts. "Remy has been training, but I cannot say if he will be playing as we are not at all sure". Following a week with several games on the run, and referring to his possible starting line-up, he said "the team that played in Sevilla won’t be the same one as tomorrow, there will be some changes" and regarding the chances of Hernán Toledo playing, he stated: "he may start, he was incisive down the wing against Sevilla in the few minutes that he was on the pitch", while he also made mention of Borja Herrera’s situation: "Borja will be in the squad" and although he was not sure whether he would be starting the match, he said "he may be making his debut this weekend".
