Luis García: "There is a key word in football, which is decisiveness, and that is what we lacked today."
The coach stated after the defeat in Eibar that the team "we are in the position we are not only because of the offensive phase, but also the defensive one where we are reliable, and today we were not. We have to improve."
Luis García appeared at a press conference after UD Las Palmas' defeat in Ipurúa, where the yellow coach highlighted that "The result is partly a consequence of the game. I think we were superior, but if we analyze the areas, we were very inferior. There is a key word in football, which is decisiveness, and that is what we lacked today."
These were some of his statements:
"What is clear is that we have not been decisive in our area or in the opponent's area. We are in the position we are in not only because of the offensive phase but also the defensive one, where we are usually reliable, and today we were not. We have to improve."
"We have two games ahead on Thursday and Sunday, and everyone has to be focused and ready because everyone is needed."
"The team has to stay true to itself, we have to improve in that determination and decisiveness. The team does many things well, we are in the last ten matchdays where everything will be decided, and we are prepared."
"Teams that are in a zone where it seems they won't reach the top or fight at the bottom will have time for everything. We have to be self-critical to improve; in four days, we have the next game. Let's not try to find logic in this category because it doesn't have any."
