UD Las Palmas was unable to defeat FC Andorra in the match played tonight at the Estadi Nacional d'Andorra, which ended in a goalless draw. UD Las Palmas coach García Pimienta said in the post-match press conference that "when a team is reduced to ten men, the game plan changes completely."

"The difference from other games in which we have played against ten men is that today we created enough chances to score a goal," added the coach, who believes that Héctor's red card in the third minute of the first half influenced the course of the game. "When nine players defend deep, it becomes difficult. We tried, but we didn't succeed."

"Today we saw a different UD Las Palmas because the game was like that. But we brought all our attacking players to look for the goal," he said. UD was once again supported by their fans, and the coach wanted to thank them for their presence: "We are in Andorra, almost three thousand kilometers from the island, and it seemed like we were playing at home with so many people cheering us on."
