Garcia Pimienta's squad added 16 points in this phase, breaking two previous records for unbeaten streaks that lasted until the eighth day, similar to the current one. Both occurred in Second A. They belong to the fiscal year 2002-03, with Yosu Uribe as head coach (3 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss against Albacete 2-1). Later, in 2010-11, Paco Jémez's first stage (3 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss against Valladolid 3-0).

This season's streak (4 victories and 4 draws) is also one of the greatest for the yellow team in the first eight games. The clearest example is Roque Olsen's signature from 1984-85, when his club won 7 games and lost 1. The loss came on the fourth matchday (Sabadell 3-1). It was a year that resulted in the team's promotion to the First Division.
