Quique Setién: "We need our fans to make a lot of noise against Real Sociedad"

"Real Sociedad are a very compact team and have very few weaknesses, we need to be highly inspired if we are going to win this match", UD Las Palmas’ trainer pointed out.

"My mood and the team’s mood is good, we have not lost any confidence despite recent adverse results", declared Quique Setién, on the eve of Friday’s clash with Real Sociedad, in which the team will attempt to put an end to a poor run of three consecutive defeats.

"We are expecting a tough match against a team that is similar to ours, and which is very clear about its style of play. I think it will be a very even encounter".

Regarding the lack of goals scored by his team recently, he said that "We have Prince who is creating a lot of scoring chances, as well as Jesé who can also play as striker. Our footballing style is a passing game so it is difficult for me to play two strikers from the start".

He announced "changes, with regard to the team that played against Málaga, not as a punishment for those not playing tomorrow, but to try to improve certain aspects of our play and give an element of freshness to parts of the team", he declared.

He pointed out that: "We could lose our next two games as we are playing two superb teams, Real Sociedad and Real Madrid, but we will never lose our motivation for growing. We need the crowd to make a lot of noise at the Estadio Gran Canaria".
