UD Las Palmas are looking for their second away victory this season in Tarragona. "A team that aims to be among the best in the league cannot afford to have just one away win so far in the league. I hope the team will continue to grow and stay loyal to how we have been working over the last few weeks".

With reference to Nástic de Tarragona, he said: "We need to go out there to win the match. In theory we are the better side, but the games have to be played. Nástic have hit rock bottom and are looking to get out of their lowly position every week".

"I need to find a settled starting line-up", said Herrera, without saying who would come in for the suspended Galarreta. "The team will not be much different from the one that faced Osasuna. There may just be one change. The important thing is to show faith in the players".

As for the signing of Aythami Artiles, he stated "of the players we were looking at I preferred Aythami. He is a player I know well, and his character will help us", while also highlighting the important roles being played by Mantovani and Juan Cala: "I won’t be making any changes in defence. They have stepped up a gear and that has to be reflected in the starting line-up".

As for the possibility of any further new players to strengthen the squad before the transfer window closes, Paco Herrera said he would like a right-sided player who could also play down the middle. "If we can’t bring anyone in, it won’t matter. I am sure the squad as it stands will be able to move forward and achieve our objective", he concluded.
