Cristian: "Las Palmas resembles my way of seeing and interpreting football."

Cristian Gutiérrez was introduced this morning in the press room of the Ciudad Deportiva. Regarding his arrival, Luis Helguera, the sporting director, highlighted that "we want to thank both Eibar and his agency for being flexible and understanding that we wanted the player. He has also done a lot to come here; he is a deep, versatile full-back, with depth both inside and outside, and we are very happy and confident that he will be an important asset."

For his part, Cristian stated that "the main reason I am here is that I followed what I felt. Las Palmas is a great club, and their style of play suits me well."

Regarding the set goal: "We have to try to aim for promotion. We know that the Segunda is very tough and long, with the level it has, we have to be there."

"I won't lack commitment to defend. I think the full-back position is quite similar to that of a winger, but you have to work more on defense. I have it naturalized; I have that ease to play both inside and outside," he added.

"I don't feel pressure; Sergi Cardona is a great player. I feel that taking on that position is an additional motivation," he concluded.
