Pako Ayestarán: "We don’t know which Madrid will turn up to this match"

Basque manager Pako Ayestarán knows about Real Madrid’s situation: "I am not sure whether their situation benefits us or will be bad for us" pointing out that "we are going to tackle our own situation and not our rival’s situation".

There are no reactions yet. Be the first!

Ayestarán knows how to beat Real Madrid: "we have to look at every detail, be very orderly and keep our lines tight", adding "you have to be lucky when you get your chances and that they miss theirs". The yellows’ manager asks his players "to be more aggressive and go out in the knowledge they can give it a real go".

He is aware of his own squad’s situation right now, and said "we are convinced we will pull ourselves out of this", and is firm in the opinion that "I talk to the players a lot, I like to know what they have been through and what they have enjoyed, so as to understand them better".

Regarding his team’s players who are out through injury, Pako Ayestarán is quite clear: "we have players who can come in and compete well, which is what we are going to do" he concluded at the press room on the eve of tomorrow’s clash with Real Madrid.
