Paco Jémez analysed the difficult situation his team has experienced over the last stretch of the season, and admitted “this has been the worst situation I have ever come up against in sporting terms. On a personal level it has helped me learn and I try to take some positives from it” while adding, “three months down the line we will have been able to learn a whole lot from this situation”.
”I do not dare to give any kind of recipe or advice because it is really hard” he said in reference to what the team would need to bounce back up to the first division. The manager believes personally that “in order to put together a good squad it depends on what the club is prepared to put in”.
Jémez again didn’t give any clues about his future, saying “it is not my main worry right now. The only thing I know is that I want to continue managing” he concluded in the press room at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
