Mauricio Lemos (born Rivera, Uruguay, on 28th December 1995), has a contract with UD Las Palmas until June 2021, and will continue his loan deal with Sassuolo for another season, as the Italian side have made good the option to extend his loan in accordance with the agreement signed by both sides. Sassuolo maintain the option to buy the player at the end of the 2018/2019 season.

Lemos came to UD Las Palmas in the 2015/2016 season from Russian side Rubín Kazan. UD Las Palmas acquired the sporting and economic rights of the Uruguayan defender in May 2016, having bought the player in accordance with the loan deal signed on 29th January 2016.

Mauricio Lemos has featured in a total of 62 official games for Las Palmas, scoring five goals. With Sassuolo he played in eight matches, scoring a single goal.
