The yellows so come at the derby with the morale boost of having scored in extra time and saving at least one point from those battled against a rival that was in the First Division a few months ago with the financial resources of that division.

The week's unknowns in UD Las Palmas' starting lineup at the Ciudad de Valencia stadium may have been the forward position. García Pimienta chose the Romanian Florin Andone for the first picture of the fight despite having previously indicated that he had up to five options for testing him.

The match got off to a frantic start. There were two occasions in each of the goals in a minute. Levante was the first, with a shot that Alex Dominguez saved with his gloves. And 60 seconds later, a yellow play resulted in a ball that hit the local Iborra's hand (high). The foul inside the area was requested by Oscar Clemente and his teammates, but neither Quintero González, the referee, nor the VAR room granted their requests.

Las Palmas came into the encounter with a clear target in mind, and after 7 minutes, he attempted again via Jonathan Viera, whose long shot barely missed the post. With the passing of time, the start of the game was fading. When Jonathan Viera and his teammates sped over the middle of the field, Las Palmas managed to calm down the ball and his opponent demanded to keep order, placing plenty of pieces on the road.

There were no new chances in the final half hour of the first half, with Alvaro Jiménez making the finest attempt. The yellow winger received the last ball during a counterattack, but his shot went wide of the goal. It was the twenty-fifth minute.

Throughout the first session, the work had shifted away from Alex Domnguez's position. His colleagues had already moved the flame of possession in the desired direction, but the plays ended largely in front of the Valencian box.

For the islanders, things were challenging at the start of the second half. Sergi Cardona unintentionally struck an opponent in the box, and Levante was awarded a shot from eleven metres as a result of the penalty that the VAR room. Soldier's precise shot resulted in a 1-0 score.

After the entry of Moleiro and Pejiño, Las Palmas relaunched with newfound vigour. He created up to five chances, including shots from Mfulu and Loiodice, a header from Suárez, crosses from Park and Pejiño that were not scored, and a shot from Marc Cardona that was stopped by goalkeeper Cárdenas.
