The Congolese emphasised that "there will be a battle, like other Second Division matches," in regards to the encounter.

"It's true that if we look at the opportunities we've created, we should have more definition in front of goal, we're working on it," the yellow player said of the lack of effectiveness, adding that the squad relieves the strain by "training, working, and understanding what we have to do, with clear concepts."

Mfulu assured everyone that "We don't intend to take revenge in the derby; the previous season is long gone. It is a different game, and we will not ignore how crucial it is, but there will be no revenge ".

"We appreciate them very much; it's unbelievable how they've gone out of their way to get tickets, and we're going to need them in the derby; I've never seen anything like this," he said about the fans.

"We're on a four-game winless run, but we're competing in every match and want to finish it with a win, preferably in the derby," he stated.

The UD Las Palmas midfielder concluded his press conference by saying "Tenerife is a very talented team, as we can see right now. We have two distinct styles, and we will do all possible to win the game ".
