García Pimienta spoke during the press conference at the Ciutat de València following the match-tying goal by Marc Cardona in the last minute. The coach of UD Las Palmas claimed that Levante "is a formidable opponent, and the squad has showed its face and mentality. We had a great second half and were rewarded with Marc's goal; losing the match would have been unfair ".

"I'm pleased for all of the guys who have made significant contributions. They must all be ready to profit on their moment; it is the quality of this squad that they are willing to play what I believe proper ", explained the coach.

In terms of the yellow team's offensive position rotation, the coach stated that "We weren't going to take any chances. The best aspect of the game is that Andone and Marc have each played 45 minutes and have rejoined the squad; they are still recovering ".

"I'm extremely glad for him, the position in goal is quite complicated but I was very calm, making this match was very essential for him," he said of Alex Domnguez's game.

UD Las Palmas is working hard to go back to winning ways, and Garca Pimienta recognised that "It is quite tough to win, and the season is extremely long. We must begin adding three points. We're on the right track; in the previous few games, we've come close to winning."

The focus is on the derby: "The derby won't count as a rematch in my opinion. With the fans, we are stronger and they are putting up fantastic effort, so we are really appreciative of their support in this different match ", he said.
