Mantovani, new player of the UD Las Palmas

UD Las Palmas and Argentine defender Martin Mantovani have reached an agreement whereby the player will be linked to the yellow club for two seasons with an option to one more. Mantovani has played in recent seasons on the CD Leganés.

Martín Maximiliano Mantovani (San Miguel, Argentina, July 7, 1984) will wear yellow the next two seasons. Mantovani arrives from Club Deportivo Leganés, where he defended the club's shirt for three years. The Argentine player has Italian nationality. He played in local teams of his native Argentina as Club Atlético Kimberly and Club Atlético Sarmiento before landing in Spain. He has played in the lower categories of Atlético de Madrid, ASA Targu Mures, Leonesa Cultural, Atlético Baleares and Real Oviedo, team that gave him in the 2013/2014 season to CD Leganés.

The defender has played a total of 45 matches in the First Division and 72 games in the Second Division.
The yellow entity has reached an agreement with the player for two seasons with an option to a third. The new addition is scheduled to arrive in Gran Canaria on Sunday on a flight from Madrid and will be presented on Monday at 4.00PM in the press room of the Gran Canaria Stadium after passing a medical examination at the Perpetuo Socorro Hospital at 11 am.
