Manolo Márquez: "My football model is one of touch and combination"

In his first intervention, Manolo Márquez highlighted the importance of the supporters for this team. “The squad has to give it all for them”. New UD las Palmas coach said that “without my players and the other members of the staff I would never have come where I am now”. Márquez pointed out that his football model is one of “touch and combination”. “The team must develop a colorful game, but the most important is always to win. We all are ambitious and the objective is to consolidate us in Laliga, from that point… we will see”.

Toni Cruz, UD Las Palmas Sport General Manager, has said today in the official new trainer presentation, Manol Márquez, that the first option for the bench was Roberto De Zerbi. In his first intervention he has explained that “there were certain aspects during the last week that made us think that he was not the ideal and for that reason we did not close his contract”. “Manolo Márquez were one of the three members of the short list and we were sure that he was going to be the trainer although not when. Toni Cruz declared that the President has reached an agreement by which Vitolo is going to play borrowed in UD Las Palmas until January once The Atlético de Madrid make the contract with the player official.
