"For me all games are like cup finals. The important thing tomorrow is for us to beat Granada and turn the tide. In terms of football we are not below any other team in the league", said Manolo Jiménez today. "I feel very responsible as trainer and I take full responsibility for the team", he stated.

Manolo Jiménez underlined the fact he is looking for alternatives. "The team needs to calm down a little. We are being pressured too easily. We are in the hell of second division football. It is a league in which non-footballing teams stand out. This team has found it difficult to adapt to this league and I can see people are in a rush for us to get where we want to be".

Referring to tomorrow’s rivals, he said: "Granada have the three most attacking midfielders in the league. I know all about them. They are showing the confidence of a team that has been picking up good results. They play free-flowing football. They are coming to make the most of an unsettled environment at UD Las Palmas, but we need to control them", he pointed out.
