Aridai Cabrera was unveiled as Las Palmas’ new signing today in the company of Rocco Maiorino, the club’s Sports Director. The footballer started off by thanking the efforts made by Miguel Ángel Ramírez and the sports management team to enable him "to be at UD Las Palmas, my home club".

"I am one hundred percent ready to play whenever the trainer considers it to be convenient" he stated referring to his current fitness, adding that he can bring "defensive work and dribbling skills, and hopefully plenty of goals" to the team. 

Las Palmas’ latest signing assessed the club’s situation in a positive light, after watching last night’s match against Zaragoza, saying "they had some good periods in the game. As long as they keep creating chances, the goals will come” before adding "the squad has strength in depth. If we all pull together we will achieve our objectives".
