Luis García's players will face the final matchday at the Riazor stadium in the promotion playoff position (fifth) and depending on their own result in the first instance.

At the start of the match, the yellows did not find their best rhythm in the game. Zaragoza, despite their delicate position in the standings, entered the game with energy, making it difficult for the home team to attack.

The first two shots in the opening 20 minutes came from Manu Fuster, with one shot going straight into Adrián's hands and another narrowly missing, close to the base of a post.

Estanis Pedrola came even closer to scoring at the 30-minute mark. The Catalan winger created space at the edge of the box after maneuvering from the left. However, his powerful shot struck one of the posts of the Naciente goal.

The 1-0 goal appeared on the scoreboard before halftime after a triangulated play in which Fuster provided the assist, Miyashiro's header hit the crossbar, and finally, Jesé collected it to send it into the back of the net from close range.

At the start of the second half, there was less action and few chances. Jesé had an opportunity to score after a pass from Viera, but the goal was denied by goalkeeper Adrián with a timely and fortunate save.

Zaragoza responded a few minutes later with their best chance of the match, as Juan Sebastián hit the crossbar with a powerful shot in the 68th minute. Four minutes later, the equalizer (1-1) came after another offensive play by the visitors, which Cuenca finished with a strong shot.

The end of the match saw constant back-and-forth action. Las Palmas had several chances to score, the best being a shot by Jesé that was saved by goalkeeper Adrián. Zaragoza also counterattacked dangerously, hitting the post in the final moments and sending a shot into the side netting by Horkas. However, the 1-1 scoreline remained unchanged, and the points were shared with a rival that also lost its status as a Professional League team this Sunday.
