Adam Arvelo, new UD Las Palmas player
The winger arrives on a free transfer from Sporting Lisbon and signs with the yellow club until June 30, 2027, with an option to extend for two more seasons.
José Adam Arvelo López (31/05/2005, Candelaria) joins UD Las Palmas after ending his spell at Sporting Lisbon. The player from Tenerife signs until June 30, 2027, with the possibility of extending his contract for an additional two seasons.
He was developed at UD Candelaria and, between 2015 and 2017, progressed through the youth ranks of CD Tenerife before making the jump to Villarreal CF. In 2020, he joined Real Madrid's academy, La Fábrica.
In August 2022, at the age of 17, he joined Sporting Lisbon, where he started with the Under‑23 team under João Pereira.
Since then, he has played three seasons with Sporting CP's Under‑23 side in Portugal’s Liga Revelação. In the 2024/25 season, he played 11 official matches with the U-23s, accumulating 673 minutes, and made his debut with the first team in November 2024 in a friendly against Leiria.
