Gran Canaria Tourism, LaLiga, and UD Las Palmas team up to promote the island as a sports destination

UD Las Palmas is taking part in a sports tourism promotional campaign aimed at the Nordic market, with a presence in various sporting events, including the one held last weekend during the Stockholm Marathon Expo.

Thanks to the collaboration agreement between Gran Canaria Tourism, LaLiga, and the yellow entity for promoting the destination in other markets through the widespread sport of football, UD Las Palmas continues to expand its presence beyond its borders, specifically in the Nordic countries.

With over 23,000 people in attendance, Gran Canaria Tourism had a promotional space at the Stockholm Marathon Expo, the largest fair dedicated to racing tourism and outdoor activities in Northern Europe, as well as at the Mini Marathon.

The promotional activities held at the stands included a giveaway for a trip to Gran Canaria, which will remain open until November for a football and vacation experience.

With this promotional proposal, the goal is to highlight and promote the unique appeal that Gran Canaria has compared to other regions with teams in the top European football leagues. It's the only place where you can travel to watch top-level football during the winter season while enjoying a family vacation.
