Tana signs a new contract with UD Las Palmas until 2023

At midday today, UD Las Palmas president, Miguel Ángel Ramírez, and first team player Tana, signed the latter’s new extended contract at club headquarters, which will keep him at the club for four more seasons, until June 2023.

Pedro Tanausú Domínguez Placeres (born Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on 20th September 1990) will remain a yellows player for the next four years following an extension deal on his contract agreed by both parties. The player, who was born in the district of San Cristóbal, began his career in the youth teams at several different clubs around the capital, before joining the second string at Las Palmas in the 2011/12 season, from UD Vecindario.

Tana made his first team debut with Las Palmas in the second division in the 2013 season against Eibar, under trainer Sergio Lobera. After two years in the second division he was part of the successful promotion season in 2015/16 under Paco Herrera. Over the last few years he has featured in a total of 121 matches with the first team, and has scored 13 goals in this time.
