UD Las Palmas is the luxury guest of the Trofeo Ciudad de La Línea, a tournament that has aroused great expectations in Campo de Gibraltar. The match will be played in the Municipal Stadium of La Línea, with capacity for 20,000 spectators, starting at 20.00 GMT. The organization anticipates a great audience attendance and for this it has put up for sale the tickets at reasonable prices: Tribune (12 €), Preference (8 €) and free entry for children.

In 2002 the last tournament was played with Sevilla's victory over Uruguay's Nacional of Montevideo. For economic reasons, the Trofeo Ciudad de La Línea was forgotten and now fifteen years later it returns to the agenda of summer games with UD Las Palmas as the main protagonist of the cartel.

Real Madrid, with five titles, is the team that has raised more 'Ensaladera', followed by Atlético Madrid (4), Barcelona and Sevilla (3).
