AEK has insisted to UD Las Palmas for the player services, who has given a great performance in the last season. From January to June he scored nine goals, the last one a historic one so it meant for the Hellenic entity the pass to play this year's Europe League Champion.

“Chino” Araujo, loved and desired by the Greek supporters, has started from the bench in the two matches played by Las Palmas this LaLiga season: Valencia (12 minutes) and Atlético Madrid (26 minutes) could be this the reason that moves him to leave the club looking for more minutes to play and a place in the starting eleven, fact that is guaranteed in the AEK. His loan leaves an non- community positon free.
