"Betis came into this game under a cloud but played well today. They prevented us from playing our natural game. With their new manager they were out to impress. We made it a bit easy for them at the start, while we didn’t make full use of the ball on occasions", said the UD Las Palmas trainer after a disappointing night in Seville.
"Their goals came from set pieces and we were unable to put anything together to hurt them", he added. "We weren’t clear enough with the ball and Betis were better on the day."
