Prince Boateng, deeped moved, has said goodbye this afternoon from the UD Las Palmas accompanied by the President, Miguel Ángel Ramírez. “It is a very difficult day for me. Everyone is asking me why I don't want to play anymore in UD Las Palmas and I respond that is a personal decision because I miss my family too much. It is not a football decision”, the Ghanés player asserted in his press conference. “For a father is very complicated to have a son, a wife that far. First of all is the family”, he admitted that the President learnt from him his decision of this leaving.

“I take with me the love of this supporters, although some will hate me now for this decision. I´ve spend a beautiful year in this club and I've always felt the tenderness of this supporters on the streets” Boateng said. Boateng played a total of 28 games in Laliga and 1 in the Cup with Las Palmas, being the top scorer of the team with ten. At the end of the press conference a video that sum up his year in UD Las Palmas was shown.
